Owners of HTC Vive, Oculus Rift and PlayStation VR will soon be able to experience the ARK Park first hand
Developed by Snail Games, this Ark: Survival Evolved spinoff takes a more scenic route with the gameplay and the overall experience. With the VR headset on, the player will be able to explore the world populated by prehistoric creatures and plants, hunt, be hunted, and even Alice in Wonderland it up with some Dodo birds.
The visitor center will be an area intended for learning about the creatures that roam the park. Those who want to take on the dinosaurs can do so in a designated "hunting area". The players will also be able to collect "gene cubes" and use them for creating their very own petting zoos. What could go wrong! Gene cubes will serve as resources for creating "survival items and weapons" as well.
Single and multi player modes will be available: “Players will participate in a multiplayer tour, so they can share the visceral gameplay and the thrill of witnessing dinosaurs up-close and personal. ARK Park aims to be the most true to life realisation of a virtual reality attraction, filled to the brim with fascinating Jurassic creatures. Everything showcased in ARK Park is designed to be as realistic as possible to enhance the educational benefits of the experience.” Educational or "Hey look at me, I'm Chris Pratt" experience?
