Along with The Resistance - Call of Duty: WWII's first DLC, Activision is throwing a community event. The event is available to all players until 27 February, and offers new game modes, weapons and uniforms.

In addition to the launch of Call of Duty's first DLC, there is a community event going from 23 January until 27 February. It's a five week long event that features new gear, game modes and Supply Drop content.

The Resistance community event is available to all players. The players are given access to to the new "Resistance Division". The new division reflects the skills and the experience of citizen soldiers from across Europe, and features weapons such as the new Tactical Knife Skill, a new Division-specific 9mm SAP Pistol.

There are some new "perks that can alter the tide of battle" as well, one of them being the ability to scramble enemy maps.

The Resistance community event also offers new Supply Drop content, new weapons and uniforms. The new gadgets and threads were used in the resistance uprisings across Europe during World War II.

Players are given a chance to take part in some fresh game modes. The Prop Hunt and Demolition game modes are about to make a time-limited comeback, along with rotating 2XP playlists across Multiplayer, War Mode and Zombies.
