Ubisoft is giving you the gift of the '80s horror with the new Predator Challenge. A new class of soldier inspired by Dutch will be available in the game's PvP mode. The free event will end sometime in early January.

While everyone is out running around in snow-covered maps, Ghost Recon Wildlands is making its jungle a tad more deadly. From 14 December, through early January players will be given a chance to go up against the Predator. The ugly motherf!@#$% will bring its unique skills to a special challenge that'll have players hunting the creature and being hunted themselves.

The free challenge will let you go against the Predator alone or with up to three other players in co-op. If you manage to defeat the the alien, you'll be rewarded with exclusive items, including the Predator mask, which features Predator vision.

If you want the cosmetics without the hassle of actually killing the Predator, you can purchase the Predator Pack from the in-game store. The pack will grant you 15 new customization items inspired by the original movie, including weapons and a new close combat move.

Ghost War portion of the Wildlands is also getting Predator-ified: A new class of soldier inspired by Schwarzenegger's Dutch is joining the fray. The new soldier will be able to slip into a battle rage mode that'll help tip the scales in his favour.

"At Ubisoft Paris, we have been fans of the Predator for a long time and are thrilled to bring such an iconic character to our game” said Nouredine Abboud, senior producer at Ubisoft. “The challenge is full of references to the original Predator movie, and we cannot wait to see the reaction of our players!"
