It seems that Ubisoft are in a particularly good mood these days, as their free offer of For Honor's Standard Edition was followed up by a free week of Rainbow Six: Siege and now Assassin's Creed: Odyssey's Fields of Elysium DLC episode.

Unlike their earlier giveaways, Ubisoft gave out For Honor's Standard Edition, which seems to have come with a few more unlocks than the regularly given Starter Edition, but that offer has expired.

Rainbow Six Siege freebie, on the other hand, kicks off tomorrow, and you can learn more on that here.

As for Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, Fields of Elysium is the first episode of The Fate of Atlantis DLC. If you've been skimping out on Odyssey's paid DLC though, you actually get to have a taste before you decide whether to hop fully onboard.

In case you've been steering clear of The Fate of Atlantis spoilers or something, don't worry - we're not going to do it here.

However, as you'll soon be able to see for yourself, stories featuring the mythical Atlantis tend to regularly hit the mark. Ubisoft's take isn't much different, although playing through Fields of Elysium still leaves you a a few paid DLCs away from the actual Atlantis.

By the way, we're not sure whether the general appeal of the Atlantis is due to the sheer amount of outrageous concepts that can be crammed into an imaginary city, but this is not the time for these analyses.

This is probably a wise time to go for Assassin's Creed: Odyssey's Season Pass, which Ubisoft is selling at half the price from today to 01 September 2019. "The Season Pass includes the full Legacy of the First Blade and Fate of Atlantis story arcs plus Assassin's Creed III Remastered", they wrote.

As you can see from the slide above, the free giveaway of The Fate of Atlantis DLC's first episode starts on different times in different regions, so if you're anxious to get your mitts on it - consult the slide, duh.

You can find Ubisoft's announcement on the official Assassin's Creed: Odyssey website.
