NetherRealm Studios have finally revealed Mortal Kombat 11's first Kombat Pack. As earlier rumours and leaks suggested, Arnold Schwarzenegger's Terminator is the star of the first DLC along with The Joker from the Batman franchise.
Mortal Kombat 11 players have been eagerly awaiting details about the game's first Kombat Pack DLC for quite some time now. Some are even frustrated that NetherRealm and Warner Bros. decided to keep them in the dark for so long but fortunately, the reveal trailer is here and we finally have the release dates and characters that are featured in the first Kombat Pack.
The highlight of the first DLC is certainly Arnold Schwarzenegger's Terminator along with another popular character - The Joker from Batman franchise. Spawn is also coming along with the already revealed Sindel. Shang Tsung and Nightwolf are also included in the pack but they are already available in the game.
As for the release dates, The Terminator is coming on 08 October 2019, Sindel will join the roster on 26 November 2019, The Joker is dropping on 28 January 2020 while players will have to wait a bit longer for Spawn, who is set to launch on 17 March 2020.
Along with these new fighters, those who own Kombat Pack will get one-week early access to all the characters, seven exclusive character skins and seven exclusive sets of gear.
The lineup confirms earlier leaks which suggested that The Terminator and The Joker will be just some of the characters that will appear in Mortal Kombat 11. The leaks also mentioned Fujin, Sheeva and Ash from Army of Darkness but these characters are yet to be confirmed by NetherRealm.
Furthermore, we don't have any details about Kombat Pack 2 or if NetherRealm even plan to have another batch of fighters in 2020. However, if the second DLC is indeed coming, it wouldn't surprise us if the rumours were spot on and the already mentioned characters join the ring.
Mortal Kombat 11 is available on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Switch.
