According to the latest leak, Call of Duty: Black Ops 5, which should arrive sometime in 2020, will be even more gritty and gruesome than this year's Modern Warfare. Apparently, the game will include Cold, Vietnam and Korean wars.

While many Call of Duty fans are anticipating the official launch of the upcoming Modern Warfare, a couple of details about another Call of Duty game have emerged this week. According to some earlier rumours, the game after Modern Warfare is Black Ops 5 and is currently aiming for a 2020 release window.

We also know that Treyarch once again lead the development of the game, after Activision decided to take the project from Raven Software and Sledgehammer Games, due to disagreements between the two studios.

Anyway, the latest rumours about Black Ops 5 come from Twitter user LongSensation, which has accurately leaked Call of Duty news in the past. LongSensation claims that Black Ops 5 will be even more brutal than Modern Warfare, which, according to the devs Infinity Ward is set to become the most gruesome Call of Duty game of all time.

Furthermore, the leaker says that Call of Duty Black Ops 5 is set during the Cold War and will span 40 years. Players will get to experience Vietnam and the Korean War as well. "Set during the Cold War. Spans the entire 40+ years and [includes] Vietnam and the Korean War. Described as even more gritty and gruesome than Modern Warfare," LongSensation wrote in his tweet.

Now, we don't have any official confirmations from Activision about the 2020 Call of Duty game so take these with a huge grain of salt. That being said, the rumour sounds legit and it follows the earlier reports that also confirmed Vietnam as a possible setting for the game.

Also, the singleplayer campaign, which wasn't included in Black Ops 4 will be making a return in the fifth instalment.
