Cyberpunk 2077 Lead Quest Designer Pawel Sasko said that the team is doing everything to keep players glued to the screen with heart-wrenching quests and characters. Apparently, Cyberpunk 2077 will be filled with joy, laughter and anger.
Remember the Bloody Baron quest from CD Projekt Red's last major game - The Witcher 3? It was one of the most memorable quests for many Witcher 3 players and the man who designed it is also the Lead Quest Designer on the upcoming RPG Cyberpunk 2077.
In an interview with Gamereactor, Sasko talked about this particular questline and if players can expect similar emotional stories from Cyberpunk 2077's world and characters. Sasko said that the goal of the studio is, of course, to create such emotional moments and "grab the player and keep them glued to the screen".
Apparently, in Cyberpunk 2077's, there will be joy, tears, laughter and anger and that's the way the studio is designing the game's story, side quests and "there's no other way" they would want to do this.
"We are going to give you all that, because this is what we are doing. Like that's one of my main goals - I wanna move the players, like they are going to feel it so hard, and we are coming for you," Sasko explained.
On E3 2019, CD Projekt Red showed a new cinematic trailer in which we got to see a glimpse of the emotional moments in the story, when V, loses his friend Jackie in a shootout. He is then encouraged by that particular moment, to stand up against Dexter DeShawn, who set them up.
Just how many moments like this will end up in Cyberpunk 2077 it remains to be seen, but if Sasko and the team work their magic like they did with the Bloody Baron quest, those who are excited for Cyberpunk 2077 are up for a treat.
