Treyarch are teasing the next Zombies chapter for Call of Duty Black Ops 4. The new DLC is coming next week and by the looks of it, it will introduce the fan-favourite Nuketown map. There's also a tease for Moon map from the first Black Ops
Call of Duty Black Ops 4 is set for a brand new Zombies chapter next week, and judging by the tease from Treyarch, the upcoming DLC could add the fan-favourite Nuketown map, in its Zombies version.
Treyarch love to tease the new content, and it's no different with the next Zombies chapter. The devs shared a couple of artworks on their official Twitter, and there are few hints that suggest what players could get once the new content arrives later next week.
In the first tease, which you can see above, Treyarch revealed what appears to be the logo for the next chapter. With words Alpha and Omega and two Greek letters, the next DLC is signalling the beginning of the end.
The interesting part is that the Alpha letter contains a nuke icon, suggesting that Nuketown map is indeed coming. Treyarch also revealed that the next chapter is dropping on 09 July 2019 with a caption "The end begins".
There's also further proof that Nuketown is indeed coming to Zombies. In the latest update files, data miners discovered a loading screen for the Zombies mode, and guess what, it looks like Nuketown.
As for the other tease, well, it appears that it's hinting at a return of Moon map, which originally appeared in Black Ops' Rezurrection DLC. The artwork shows a girl levitating with a teddy bear in her hands, on a background that has a striking resemblance to Moon map. "I know what must be done, and who must do it," is written in the caption of the photo.
And last but not least, Treyarch also released a cinematic trailer that introduces a small portion of the story from the next DLC. You can watch the trailer above.
