In today's update, Ubisoft finally introduced the fourth specialisation to The Division 2- Gunner. It's the first post-launch specialisation that brings first heavy weapon - minigun. The Gunner is all about tank damage and sustained fire.
Ubisoft's looter shooter The Division 2 has received another major content update in the latest patch. The Title Update 4 revolves around the first post-launch specialisation - The Gunner.
It's a new heavy hitter that you can unlock by completing the five stages of the Special Field Research that includes in-game challenges and other tasks. Of course, those with Year 1 Pass get instant access to the new content.
The Gunner is equipped with the first heavy weapon in the game - Minigun, which emphasizes a sustained damage output and damage resilience. Once activated The Gunner receive bonus armour based on the amount of Specialisation ammo they carry.
They can tank incoming damage for short periods of time while using the Minigun to cause havoc on their enemies. However, once you draw the weapon, the Gunner can't enter cover, vault or roll. With Gunner specialisations, players can also restock the team with bullets and earn Signature Ammo by killing two enemies in one firing burst.
The Gunner also comes with Pulse Banshee variant, which ignores cover and can make targets confused. In PVP Banshee Pulse skill adds disruptive to the other players which prevent them from using their skills. The specialisation also comes with the Riot Foam grenade, a new skill tree and P320 XCompact sidearm.
Another big change in Title Update 4 is how signature ammo is earned. As you may know, signature ammo drop in The Division 2 is a rare occasion but with the new change, you'll be able to see when exactly you're getting ammo.
There's an ammo bar that fils up as you kill enemies and once you fill it up, you'll get a signature ammo drop. Headshots count as a bonus just like explosive kills and killing status-affected enemies.
