Cyberpunk 2077 cars will apparently behave like Roach from The Witcher 3 since players will be able to summon them through AI whenever they need a ride. Let's just hope they don't get stuck on any futuristic fences in the process.
Cyberpunk 2077 will boast a selection of vehicles players will be able to use in order to navigate Night City faster. This includes both regular cars and motorcycles that could potentially get lost in a massive, sprawling city. Furthermore, keeping track of the vehicle location could potentially be an inconvenience that could break the game flow.
CD Projekt Red folks appear to have thought of these issues since they implemented a system that will both help us keep track of our favourite wheeled speedsters as well as bring them to us, literally.
Cars and motorcycles in Cyberpunk 2077 will have an onboard AI that will be able to take control of them for a time. That's the lore-friendly narration for what is basically a hotkey to get the vehicle to spawn and move close to us so we can cut the trekking time.
According to Pawel Sasko, lead quest designer for Cyberpunk 2077, these vehicles will behave the same way Roach did in The Witcher 3. We would whistle and the horse would appear somewhere around us and proceed to slowly move until we mount it.
He did not specify whether vehicles in Cyberpunk 2077 will be able to find a parking spot for themselves or if they will just stop in the middle of the street when they detect they are close to V. Thankfully, the gameplay footage so far didn't show any fences so it's unlikely they will get stuck as Roach did.

Each apartment V unlocks will apparently have a garage that will allow the protagonist to store a car that will be sorted under their favourites and the character will be able to summon such cars whenever they are needed.
This applies only for the wheeled vehicles though, since Sasko also confirmed we will not be able to control flying cars.
