Cyberpunk 2077 had a behind closed doors demo that was shown only to press and some E3 2019 attendees. The game was showcased on a high-end PC with Intel i7-8700k and Nvidia's monster GPU Titan RTX. The rig also packed 32 GB of RAM.

Just like last year, CD Projekt Red once again showed an exclusive behind closed doors demo to press and attendees at E3 2019. Judging by the majority of reports and impressions, Cyberpunk 2077 once again showed why is it one of the most anticipated games in the last few years.

The demo was played on PC and our colleagues over at Spieltimes.com managed to find out the full system specifications of the PC rig that the demo was running on.

As expected, it's a pretty beefy setup to avoid any performance hiccups and make the gameplay walkthrough as smooth as possible. It's pretty standard practice for all live gameplay on PC. Apparently, the demo was played on 1080p resolution and was locked at 30 FPS.

Anyway, the PC that run Cyberpunk 2077 featured Intel's 6-core, 12-thread CPU i7-8700k, clocked at 3.7 GHz and Nvidia's monstrous GPU Titan RTX. It also packed 32 GB of 3000MHZ RAM. Here's the full list of components:

  • CPU: Intel i7-8700K @ 3.70 GHz
  • Motherboard: ASUS ROG STRIX Z370-I GAMING
  • RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws V, 2x16GB, 3000MHz, CL15
  • GPU: Titan RTX
  • SSD: Samsung 960 Pro 512 GB M.2 PCIe
  • PSU: Corsair SF600 600W

When compared to the rig that run Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay demo last year, the only difference is in GPU. Titan RTX replaced GTX 1080ti, to power Nvidia's RTX ray tracing technology that will be available in the game on launch.

Of course, these specs are nowhere near what will be the official system requirements for Cyberpunk 2077. The game is currently in polishing phase and the devs are optimising it for much slower cards so don't worry, you won't need $2500 graphics card to run Cyberpunk 2077 once it comes out.
