Call of Duty Mobile's battle royale will be similar to Blackout with a couple of new additions. These include new revive system, the option to choose between first person and third person view along with some locations from earlier games.
Battle Royale is the second major mode in Call of Duty Mobile and it's standalone from Blackout mode in Black Ops 4. Of course, it has a couple of familiarities but ultimately, it's a different mode that brings a lot of brand new features.
The mode will support up to 100 players in Solo, Duo and Squad modes that are currently being tested. Players will get to choose from six initial classes that will come with their own abilities and skills - Defender, Mechanic, Scout, Clown, Medic and Ninja.
One of the unique features is the new revive system. Reviving teammates introduces a dog tag retrieval, meaning that successfully healed friends will drop from a cargo plane once they are healed.
Another new feature is the ability to switch between a third person and a first-person perspective. You'll get to pick your preference before the match starts.
Activision also say that the map features a wide variety of new territory to explore, including over a dozen locations from the previous Call of Duty titles such as Modern Warfare, Black Ops.
These include Countdown, Crash, Killhouse, Overgrown and more from the original Modern Warfare. Estate from Modern Warfare II, Launch and Nuketown from Black Ops and Seaside and Farm from Black Ops 4 and Black Ops II respectively.
For faster and easier travel around the map, Call of Duty Mobile Battle Royale will offer players four vehicles on launch. These include ATV, light helicopter, SUV and Tactical Raft.
