SIE Bend Studio's zombie action adventure is still holding the top spot in UK physical sales, once again beating NetherRealm's brutal fighter Mortal Kombat 11. In a pretty quiet week, FIFA 19 and RDR2 took the third and fourth place.
Days Gone has topped UK retail sales charts for a second week in a row, beating NetherRealm's latest fighting title Mortal Kombat 11. In a quiet release week, Bend Studio's action adventure remained at number one but saw a 60 per cent drop in sales when compared to the previous week.
Still, this was enough to beat Mortal Kombat 11, who also saw a big decline in sales - a 74% drop from last week. The brutal fighter is the best selling game in the franchise but still didn't manage to beat Days Gone, despite launching on all major platforms, including Nintendo Switch.
As for the rest of the list, it's made of the usual suspects like EA's football simulation FIFA 19 and Rockstar's western Red Dead Redemption 2 in third and fourth place respectively.
Unlike, Days Gone and Mortal Kombat 11, these two managed to keep their week over week sales stable. FIFA 19 saw a decline of 10 per cent while Red Dead Redemption 2 sales dropped by 3 per cent from the previous week.
The only title that saw an increase in sales is Grand Theft Auto V. A boost of 14 per cent helped Rockstar's action adventure to climb from eleventh to the fifth spot on the chart.
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe, Tom Clancy's The Division 2 are just some of the titles that swapped one or two places since last week. EA's Anthem once again re-entered the list after dropping out to twelveth last week.
As always, these numbers only include physical sales and not digital ones, which can be a bit misleading as digital sales are overshadowing the retail with each passing year. You can check the full list below:
