Frost is the last fighter to be revealed for Mortal Kombat 11's initial roster, before the DLC kicks in. The envious and impatient Lin Kuei warrior has taken Kronika's side in the conflict and has been cyberized as evidenced by the footage.
Frost has been impatient, envious and never proved trustworthy in any of her appearances. It seems like NetherRealm wanted to highlight all of these traits in her Mortal Kombat 11 appearance as she took a shortcut to power by aligning with Kronika, is seeking approval of Sub-Zero after her envy led her to attempt to kill him.
While Frost's alignment may sound like a bit of a spoiler, the aesthetic of her costume leaves no doubt in our mind - it clearly resembles that of Kronika and Geras.
Furthermore, she is shown to be completely cyberized at the start of the trailer above, meaning she either restarted the Cyber Initiative within Lin Kuei or Kronika did and Frost helped her out with it.
This will inevitably put her at odds with Sub-Zero, who is one of the sword protectors of Earthrealm, which all but confirms Frost will once again play the baddie.
Her moveset heavily utilises both her cryo powers as well as the cybernetic body. Frost's arms are shown to spin at impossible speeds, acting like drills and she even turns her upper body by 180 degrees, Exorcist-style.
While Frost's fatal blow looks rather fantastic, her shown fatality leaves a lot to be desired as it drags on for a bit, showing the beaten fighter being cyberized.
It would be interesting to see whether NetherRealm put any of her human-form cosmetics in Mortal Kombat 11 since the aforementioned moves would look incredibly awkward or straight up senseless, even for Mortal Kombat standards.
Longtime Mortal Kombat fans will likely be rejoiced to have Frost as a playable character, regardless of her form or motives though. Thankfully, she is not a DLC or pre-order character, but those who wanted to have a go with Shao Kahn will be at a loss.
