SIE Bend Studio's zombie survival adventure Days Gone will be available for preload, starting Tuesday - 23 April 2019. According to the game's PS store pre-order page, the expected date for auto-download comes three days before the release.
Days Gone is just a few days away from the official release. SIE Bend Studios' zombie adventure is certainly one of the most anticipated games this year, and many players can't wait to get their hands on it once it goes live on 26 April 2019.
Of course, those who already purchased the game would love an opportunity to pre-load it in time and get everything up and running before the game officially unlocks on the PlayStation Store. SIE Bend Studio and Sony will, of course, allow you pre-load Days Gone, and you'll be able to do that starting tomorrow - 23 April 2019.
This is according to the Days Gone pre-order page on PlayStation Store where it states that auto-download for the game is expected to start on the mentioned date.
SIE Bend Studio and Sony are yet to officially confirm this as a pre-load start date, but with PlayStation 4 exclusives, three days before the release is usually the time when the pre-load becomes officially available.
The pre-load option will hopefully help those with slower internet but it should also download a day-one patch that is already wrapped up by the devs. The patch weights around 17 GB while the total download size of the game is approximately 67 GB, which is a pretty hefty download if your internet is not up to speed. However, three days should be more than enough to download it, plus, you'll be able to play the first parts of the game after the first 27 GB are downloaded.
