Ubisoft have announced Anno 1800 Season Pass and plans for free post-launch content that will release throughout 2019. The Season Pass will include three major DLCs while the free content will add Co-op mode and Community Challenges.

Blue Byte, the developer of the city building simulation series Anno, and the publisher Ubisoft have today announced plans for Anno 1800's post-launch content, which includes a Season Pass and regular free updates.

Anno 1800's Season Pass contains three major DLCs that will release throughout 2019. Of course, you will be able to buy these DLCs separately. Blue Byte and Ubisoft say that the goal with these DLCs is to expand the game's features and systems with a variety of new content.

The first expansion is named Sunken Treasures and according to the official description, it will allow players to expand their islands with a new European session and large continental island, as they join an "eccentric inventor and his diving bell on a treasure hunt".

In Botanica, which is the second DLC, you will grow your city's attractiveness to new heights with a modular Botanical Garden. This building will allow you to earn new items and rewards as you draw tourists to see the "floral masterpiece". Botanica will also add another building - Musical Pavilion that will play tracks from previous Anno games inside your city.

The third DLC is named The Passage and it expands the map to the Arctic Circle. In order to succeed in the harsh climate, arctic outposts and new production chains and goods will be at your disposal.

Ubisoft are yet to reveal the release date for these DLCs, however, the Season Pass is available for purchase and is priced at $24.99.

As for the free content, along with the regular updates that will include bug fixes and balancing, Blue Byte will also work on Community Challenges that will reward players with cosmetic customization options like company icons or even skins for all participants.

On top of that, Anno 1800 will receive a free co-op mode in one of the future updates, allowing you to team up with friends and control a single empire together.
