The Division 2 has suffered some mostly minor bugs since its launch but Signature Weapon ammo drop rate issue has been rather annoying. Massive Entertainment have announced a fix is coming soon on a recent State of the Game episode.
The Division 2 introduced several major changes from the original game, one probably most high profile being the Specialisations and their Signature Weapons. While it was fun ruining the enemies' lives with an M32 Grenade Launcher or a McMillan Tac-50, the joy was cut short with the patch that added World Tier 5.
Signature ammo was nowhere to be found for hours on end, resulting in several threads on forums made by frustrated fans. Ubisoft and Massive Entertainment took the feedback to heart and immediately stated they have teams working on a fix.
The fix seems to be imminent now, since the developers announced the fix might come in the patch on 11 April 2019 but are still not entirely sure they would be able to deploy exactly then. Fingers crossed for a fix in the early hours.
Anyway, the State of the Game also revealed Massive's plans to balance out the PvP modes but they will not be just dropping changes in untested.
A Public Test Server (PTS) will be up and running soon, where players will be able to test out the planned changes for The Division 2. PTS will be available to all owners of the game but only on PC and downloadable through uPlay.
Another major annoyance that the players reported is being looked at. Namely, Control Point Alert 4 enemies are seemingly aware of their immense power due to bullet sponginess and ridiculous damage output and they are not behaving in the regular AI manner, but rather just rushing players down, leaving them with no options to counteract the NPCs.
This will be tested in an attempt to find a fix, but no ETA was mentioned. There were several other points Massive made during the State of the Game, all of which you can check out on the video of the stream or through the summed up version on Reddit.
