Ubisoft's latest patch for Rainbow Six Siege is targeting gameplay, operators, level design, UI and other lingering bugs and issues. The patch is now live on PC while PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will receive it in the coming weeks.
Ubisoft have dropped a fresh batch of bug fixes for their tactical online shooter Rainbow Six Siege. You may remember that some of the previous updates introduced a couple of issues among the various additions and bug fixes and Ubisoft focused on fixing those and adding a bit more in the Y4S1.2 patch.
The list of bug fixes for the two new Australian operators is as expected, the longest. A bug that made Mozzie's pest captured drones lose signal in certain sports on various maps has been addressed once again, but this one will continue to be a work in progress as all locations must be fixed individually according to Ubisoft.
Also, a bug regarding deployed pest devices and their area of effect radius has been fixed and two pests won't be able to hack the same drone anymore.
As for Mozzie's buddy Gridlock, his Trax Stingers will no longer deploy inside an object or pass through objects and stingers will now have their outline at the end of the round replay.
Ubisoft also fixed a bug that prevented detection by Defenders when players planted the Defuser next to a partially deployed Trax Stinger. No room for exploits anymore, it seems.
Those who experienced Zofia's Concussion Grenade bug will be happy to hear that Ubisoft fixed the issue and that the effect will no longer persist if you get killed under the effect of the grenade.
As for some gameplay bugs and exploits, you will no longer be able to use macro inputs or "Hold" on controls to quickly change your stance and if you experienced frame rate drops after the last update, you should see an improvement after today's patch.
The devs also addressed a lot of vaulting exploits on Outback map and as of today, players won't be able to hide inside the furniture of Nature Room in Outback.
The new update also includes various UI fixes and for more details on those, you can check the full patch notes.
