Bethesda have rolled out Patch 6 for Fallout 76 which brings a pile of quality of life improvements, with stash size increase being arguably the most interesting one. This is the second time stash space was increased since the game launch.

Stash limit has been a controversial subject since the launch of Fallout 76 as players constantly kept demanding more space and Bethesda being either slow to indulge them or not wanting to. It is currently unknown what the company's original plan was with the stash space as it used to be just 400 initially, which was moved to 600 in a subsequent patch.

The new update moved this limit up to 800, meaning that the size doubled from what Bethesda originally thought was enough for the players. Then again, this miscalculation is one of the smallest issues Fallout 76 was presented with.

Back to the patch highlight,s workshops no longer need to be interacted with in order to contest their ownership. This should help players contest ownership for workshops from further away, in case that someone may have built around them. Having to damage clutter that prevented players from interacting with workshops could cause them to become wanted, so this will be another layer that will prevent players from entering PvP.

On top of that, players now have to destroy something in other people's camps in order to become wanted. Just in case players weren't sure a workshop belonged to someone before, hovering over them will now display the owner's icon. Similar icons will be displayed when hovering over players as well as their turrets.

Scorchbeasts have been rebalanced a bit. There will now be a 10 second delay between their Sonic Scream volleys to give players some breathing room. This change was requested by players, but Bethesda noted they will be looking into feedback further in order to bring more balance to the Skyrim dragon reskins.
