Rocksteady have listed three new marketing jobs on their website, which require someone who can produce high-quality trailers and world-class material for an exciting AAA game. The game is described as part of a high profile franchise.

It's been almost four years since Rocksteady released the fourth and the last main instalment in the Arkham series - Batman Arkham Knight.

Since then developers also launched Batman Arkham VR and went into total radio silence with not even a small hint what their next project could be.

That's why Rocksteady's new game was the subject of many leaks and rumours, some of which even talked about a Superman game - a rumour that the studio quickly refuted.

Judging by the job listings on Rocksteady's official website, the wait could soon be over as the team is looking to create some "high-quality trailers and video assets" in their campaign for "a very high profile, AAA game franchise".

The marketing department section currently has three positions open - Lead Brand Artist, Senior User Researcher and Promo Artist for videos.

For the Lead Brand Artist position, Rocksteady are looking to hire someone who can create "world-class marketing material for an exciting AAA game." They also list that Lead Brand Artist would "manage quality across key art, trailers, behind-the-scenes videos, screenshots and packaging."

Senior User Researcher should be ready for the challenge of "producing a world-class, AAA title" while Promo Artist for videos would use the "gameplay footage and composited 3D and special effects" to deliver a promotional video that would be "a central component of the global marketing campaign" for the next game.

During their 15 year existence, Rocksteady have only worked on one AAA franchise and that's Batman Arkham. Given that the job listings clearly mention a game franchise that's already highly popular, many are left hoping that Rocksteady are working on the next Batman Arkham game.

Earlier leaks suggested that the new game involves the Court of Owls as the main villains. Recently, WB Montreal's Production Coordinator shared a photo on Twitter in which she wears a t-shirt with an owl emblem that resembles the one used in the Court of Owls comics.
