HUNK and Tofu are classic characters that were earlier announced for Resident Evil 2: Remake, but now they have an official trailer as well as gameplay footage. Each character's story can be accessed by beating the previous content.

Umbrella is hated in Resident Evil's universe almost as much as EA in ours, but there is one character that every player admires for his cold, calculated and pragmatic outlook that helped him survive even the grimmest of situations - HUNK. Fans have been waiting to see more of him ever since Resident Evil 2 Remake was first announced, and now they have an opportunity to do so.

The new trailer, embedded above, and gameplay videos testify to Capcom successfully capturing the essence of this badass once again, in a retelling of his extraction from Raccoon City. Unlike Leon or Claire, HUNK starts his mission off well equipped, sporting two handguns, a shotgun, and a submachine gun, along with a slew of healing items, but the catch is that there is no loot to be found so that's all he gets for the run.

To top the tension off, there is a timer running for the duration of The Fourth Survivor, so players will likely compare themselves to their peers, to see who managed to be the fastest one to the extraction by Nighthawk. One thing that could throw fans off is HUNK's new voice, which sounds a lot like Keith Silverstein, who voiced Nazeem in Skyrim. All is nice and dandy until you start expecting the ruthless operative to ask you whether you get to the cloud district very often.

Anyway, to access The Fourth Survivor mode, you will need to beat the 2nd Run mode. Those who beat The Fourth Survivor afterwards will get access to the Tofu Survivor, where they will play as the eponymous food and will be equipped only with a few herbs and a knife.
