Dai from Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai has officially been confirmed for Jump Force by the game's publisher, Bandai Namco. The news comes after a leak which revealed Dai's screenshot in a sponsored ad on Instagram and Facebook.

A few days ago, screenshots of two new Jump Force characters appeared in the form of sponsored advertisements on Bandai Namco's official Instagram and Facebook profiles. The screenshots featured Jotaro Kujo from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure and Dai from Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai.

The ads were removed shortly after going live, but certain fans were fast enough to grab a screenshot and share them online, the fastest being YonkouProd and NiniiSpangle. Breathing more life into the rumour, the game's official subreddit went wild with fans being absolutely certain that the leaks are very much real, which only goes to show how wanted these two fighters are in the game's growing community.

Well, as far as the leaks go, we can safely say that one of these characters will most definitely be joining the full game's roster, and his addition is no longer questionable. Dragon Quest's Dai has officially been confirmed by Bandai Namco.

On their official Twitter, aside from Dai's announcement itself, Bandai Namco posted a bunch of screenshots featuring this legendary warrior where we can see him taking on Yami Yugi - another character whose movesets fans have been very eager to see.

Although Jotaro Kujo hasn't been confirmed yet, we expect him to be announced any day now, just like Dai. After all, both of these characters graced the images of the sponsored ads on Bandai Namco's social media profiles, so there's no reason that one would be legit and the other one fake.

Dai, as well as many other recently added characters, will officially be available for play in the full game only which releases on February 15 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
