David Jaffe has said that those who are unhappy with Beyond Good and Evil 2's always-online requirement are super entitled babies. The God of War creator shared his thoughts after reading a bunch of comments from unhappy fans on N4G.

After the announcement that Beyond Good & Evil 2 will be playable only with a permanent internet connection, many fans voiced their discontent with Ubisoft's decision on social media.

Apparently, Ubisoft took the game in a direction fans didn't find entirely appealing. A simple sequel with a great story based on Jade and her adventure would be enough according to some fans, but Ubisoft decided to give them a big open-world space game with a focus on multiplayer and co-op instead.

These fans are nothing but "super entitled babies" according to God of War creator David Jaffe who was amazed by the reaction in a time when he thought he'll have almost nothing to talk about on his live stream. "I thought Xmas would be slow for Stream topics. Maybe with everyone off work, the gamers who are super entitled babies now have more time to complain," Jaffe tweeted.

Pretty strong words and while we agree that Beyond Good & Evil 2 fans overreacted a little bit, their concerns are still valid. Their arguments are certainly not cause for calling them super entitled babies, but that's just us.

The always-online requirement can be an annoying feature for those with a poor internet connection and even players who actually have access to faster internet will rarely defend the controversial feature. Also, we think the fans are more unhappy with a whole multiplayer component of the game than "always online" requirement.

Anyway, Jaffe continued by saying that he's looking forward to talking about these complaints and the game itself on his stream. If you're interested in what he had to say about super entitled babies, and a couple of extra things like Resident Evil 7 and atheism you can find his two-hour stream on Twitch.

As for the release date, we don't have any confirmation at the moment, not even a year so it's safe to assume we'll have to wait sometime before we get our hands on Beyond Good & Evil 2.
