The Crew 2 is set for another free weekend which will run from 13 to 16 December 2018 on all platforms. The game is available for preload right now and everyone who participates in the free weekend will get an exclusive in-game vehicle.
Once again, Ubisoft is giving you the opportunity to try their games for free for a limited time. The Crew 2 is the title currently available to download and its free version comes with all events, tracks and features available in the full version including PVP and new Demolition Derby discipline.
This way, you'll get to experience everything the game has to offer and if you decide to buy it all progress made during the free trial will be carried over to the full game.
The free weekend will start on 13 December 2018 and will run for three days before ending on 16 December 2018. It will be available on all platforms and PC users can preload the game right now so they have everything set up when The Crew 2 unlocks on Uplay.
In addition to the free weekend, The Crew 2 is also on sale during the trial period. Standard, Deluxe and Gold editions are 67 per cent off while the season pass is available for 30 per cent less.
Everyone who participates in the free weekend will get rewarded with an exclusive in-game vehicle depending oh their platform. PC users will get Ford GT Turing, Xbox One racers are set for BMW Z4 GT3 and those who prefer Sony are getting Maserati Gran Turismo S. All of them great choices if you don't want to spend your trial driving lower tier cars.
Just a couple of days ago, The Crew 2 got a major update dubbed Demolition Derby which brought new discipline and eight events along with vehicles, activities and PVP mode. If you didn't get the chance to try out Ubisoft's racer, the free weekend comes as a perfect opportunity to see if the game is your cup of tea.
The free weekend and big sale is probably a part of Ubisoft's plan to boost the daily average player numbers for The Crew 2 which have been pretty underwhelming in last months. Hopefully, the new update and free trial attracts new players and inject some life in the franchise.
