Bethesda promises to replace every single nylon trash bag with a better quality canvas bag. This was confirmed by the publisher on Twitter. The manufacturing plans for replacements are being finalised and will ship as soon as possible.

Everyone who bought the most expensive version of Fallout 76 which costs $200 was shocked to discover that the advertised quality canvas bag has been replaced with a cheap nylon copy version.

Of course, this caused an uproar in the Fallout 76 community and Bethesda is trying to put out the fire by sending the original, advertised bags to Power Armor Edition owners.

Bethesda confirmed this on Twitter by saying that manufacturing plans are currently being finalised and asked those who bought the Power Armor Edition to submit a ticket on their support website by 31 January 2018. The bags will be shipped as soon as possible to everyone who asks for a replacement.

Bethesda didn't mention if they will take replacement requests after the mentioned date so if you want the bag make sure to submit a ticket before the end of the month.

When you visit Bethesda's support page, you'll find a subcategory Power Armor Edition bag replacement request form. Fill out the details and upload the receipt with your email address on it, which should do the trick.

Since its release, Fallout 76 has been nothing but a nightmare for Bethesda. The game was heavily criticised by reviewers and players alike and the last thing they needed was those pesky players asking for what they paid for. Bethesda said they won't do anything to fix the situation but it seems the backlash was too big to just leave it and wait for the dust to settle.

First, they offered 500 atoms, which is the in-game currency worth $5. That, however, wasn't even enough to get you the postman uniform skin that comes with a canvas bag. Oh, the irony.

The backlash got even worse after players found out that quality bags were given to YouTube influencers. Those who shelled out $200 on a special edition of Fallout 76, on the other hand, were sent nylon bags. Let that sink in.

Anyway, Bethesda have a mountain to climb after the disaster that is Fallout 76 and it looks like they're taking their first steps in rebuilding their relationship with players. You can find the replacement bag form on Bethesda's support website and check out the original tweet on their official Twitter.
