Two new map variants are coming to Call of Duty Black Ops 4 according to Youtuber NerosCinema who shared gameplay videos of both maps. Seaside and Firing Range are the maps which will get rain and night makeovers in the upcoming updates.

Call of Duty Black Ops 4 maps could be getting a seasonal makeover in upcoming updates after leaked screenshots and gameplay were published by Call of Duty Youtuber NerosCinema. He claims that the information was provided to him by a friend who said that in the latest Call of Duty Black Ops 4 update. Treyarch decided to sneak in some new multiplayer maps into the game files.

The new maps are Firing Range Night and Seaside Sunset and are likely going to be part of a new event. As the name already suggests, the first one will be a night makeover for Firing Range map and the second one is sunset rainy version of Seaside map.

This is not the first time Call of Duty maps are getting seasons updates. Modern Warfare Remastered featured multiple map variants and World at War also had a Fitsday and night versions for Makin map.

These makeovers were available as free downloads so we assume Treyarch will probably do the same with the new stuff unless Activision smells an opportunity to make additional cash. It wouldn't surprise us since they're on some ridiculously expensive microtransactions spree in the last few weeks which started a huge fan backlash.

For now, we don't know when will these maps become available as Treyarch did not officially confirm the new content. The gameplay shown in the video is pretty laggy and maps visually lack detail with some pretty blurry textures overall so they're probably still being tested and optimised.

NerosCinema also explained how his friend actually got the footage by saying he's one of the data miners who always dig around the Call of Duty data files and has shared leaks about guns, maps and other content for the previous Call of Duty games.
