Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is getting considerable changes in the newest 1.05 update Treyarch have revealed in a Reddit post. The patch includes some of the much requested nerfs and weapon balancing along with one of the most popular Call of Duty maps - Nuketown. PlayStation 4 users have access to the new map since 13 November 2018, while others will have to wait another week to get their hands on new content.
When it comes to weapon balance updates, some tweaks have been made to the SG12 Strobe Light, SMGs, the Titan and Cold Blooded. But one of the biggest change is Specialist Ajax nerf, which will shorten the duration of his 9-Bang flash by 25 percent and reduce the accuracy when the Ballistic shield is up. Also, Tactical Mask has been buffed to counter 9-bang more effectively.
Major stability updates for Zombies have also been included with fixes for crashes and other various issues. Easter egg crashes and full ammo bugs have been addressed along with exploits in Classified and Speed Cola functionality. Treyarch confirmed they're looking to improve split screen and add multiple features like Black Ops Authenticity Stamp system and Daily Callings in the upcoming updates.
Battle Royale mode Blackout has also seen some changes with Zombies invasion on Nuketown Island along with new team scoreboards in Duos and Quads. The Bowie Knife is joining the arsenal of weapons, and speaking of them, weapon streaming has been improved preventing the cases where players would land faster than weapons could spawn.
Treyarch have sped up Black Market progression system by adding a daily tier skips. These are activated by winning a match in multiplayer or by earning a merit in Blackout which will allow you to redeem a daily bonus tier in the Black Market.
