EA and DICE are pushing with another step in Battlefield V's marketing campaign, dubbed Road to Battlefield V. This time around they brought Battlefield 1 Premium Pass for free once again, with all of the game's expansions in tow.
If this story sounds familiar, you're not wrong - it has happened before and the promotion ended barely a week before this one started. Road to Battlefield V is rocky enough already and it seems EA are hoping it will be smoothed out by repeated giveaways.
While Battlefield V already seems to be an impeding disaster, Battlefield 1 was quite the opposite. The game actually closed the gap between Battlefield series' sales and Call of Duty which has been in the lead for years. Fans loved it, newfound players loved it and it seems like EA want more players to join in on the fun.
The base price barrier is still there though but EA have a habit of reducing Battlefield's prices just before the next instalment of the franchise comes in. Such was the case with Battlefield 1 so if you're interested in giving it a go, you can get all of the game's content for a slim price. AltChar staff would still strongly suggest you spend that money on Titanfall 2, but that's just us.
Anyway, those who may have subscribed to Origin Access or Origin Access Premier might want to think twice before purchasing the game or the next subscription since Battlefield 1 along with its DLC is already available as a part of those services. You can find more info about each of the DLC packs on the official website where the promotion was originally announced.
This round of free Premium Pass promotion mentions certain skin and dog tag rewards but it's not quite clear whether they can be earned only for Battlefield V or if they will be added to Battlefield 1 customisation options as well.
