Sony have announced the lineup for September's version of PS Plus. It seemingly features big names such as Destiny 2 and God of War III but you should be a little wary not to get what you didn't sign up, or in this case - subscribe, for.

One might think that getting Destiny 2 because they subscribed to PS Plus is a win, but the ugly truth is that you will get just the base game, no expansions. Considering there are many features blocked by paywalls imposed by these expansions, you might want to think twice before committing to Destiny 2.

PlayStation blog touts the 24 hour trial for PvPvE mode, Gambit, as a great feature, but keep in mind that you will not have access to this mode afterwards, unless you purchase Forsaken expansion. The real kicker though, is the fact that you can't simply purchase Forsaken - you have to purchase Warmind and Curse of Osiris first. If you decide to commit to Destiny 2, consider yourself warned about malicious practices Bungie and Activision will throw at you, with these expansion and paywall shenanigans being just the tip of the iceberg.

As far as the other title for PlayStation 4 goes, it's not the God of War everyone is still buzzing about, but keep in mind that hype for that game was initially generated to high success of the previous trilogy. God of War III is the culmination of the trilogy where Kratos barely has anything left to kill from Greek pantheon so you might as well jump in and finish the job before he moves to northern realms.

This game is a bit different from God of War 2018 though, as the latter is a soft reboot of the franchise. There is slightly less focus on cinematics and storytelling, but all the bloodthirst and violence is still there.

PlayStation 3 owners will get Another World - 20th Anniversary Edition and QUBE Director's Cut, while PS Vita users will get Sparkle 2 and Foul Play. You can find the full list, download schedule and other details on the official PlayStation blog.
