Digital Extremes' latest Warframe update is called The Frame Fighter and other than being an obvious nod to the Street Fighter franchise, it actually brings a fighting minigame, new dojo decorations and new amp parts for your operator.
You've to give it to Digital Extremes though - even after all this time, they find a way to surprise. And what a delicious surprise it is since you'll finally be able to duke it out with other Warframeologists in a more traditional fighting format thanks to the Frame Fighter minigame.
What you want to do is visit Simaris and get the Ludoplex, which Digital Extremes says is "a new home for all of Warframe's minigames". You can initially choose between Excalibur, Volt and Mag, each with their own abilities and perks and proceed to pummel the poor sod that chose to stand in your way.
Additional Frame Fighter characters can be unlocked by discovering fragments, so with enough time, you can freely erase the mini in minigame. The dev said that if the scanned Warframe's Prime is in your inventory, "you can toggle to the Prime version of the acquired character."
Moreover, there's also a side-scrolling Wyrmius minigame as well as Happy Zephyr, where you'll "flap your way through obstacles." The dev added that these games "are still available through more secret means if you know where to look."
There's a bunch of new amp parts for your operator as well. The Rahn Prism pulses void energy to "riddle targets with flashing fire"; Phahd Scaffold launches energy discs that bounce off of victims and surfaces, always seeking new targets and Anspatha Brace, a dual-purpose brace that decreases void energy regen delay and lowers regen time. Note however that the latter is not as swift as single-purpose braces.
Last but not the least are new dojo decorations, with Warframe getting a bunch of tree hugging, natural decorations. These include a bunch of rocks and plant life from across the game's world so all you horticulturalists may want to start your planning.
