Deep Silver and 4A Games have announced that Metro Exodus preorders are now available, along with standard, gold and Aurora limited edition details. One reassuring detail is that no matter the edition, players will get full game experience.

Metro Exodus will come in three distinct versions, with a Aurora limited edition being reserved for retail only.

This edition will contain a copy of the game in an "exclusive Steelbook®" which will serve as the means to pack a 32 page art book and the game and contain a Metro Exodus Expansion pass. The name Aurora comes from the locomotive that Artyom and his companions will use to travel across nuke-ruined Russia. Aurora edition will only be available at select retailers, in limited quantities.

The other edition available at retail stores will be the standard edition which contains the game disc and a standard box that carries it. This edition will not have any restrictions regarding the quantity, just the regular, standard, retail game.

Digital stores will also have two available editions, one of them being the aforementioned standard edition, sans the physical contents and the other one is gold edition. The latter will contain the base game and Metro Exodus Expansion pass.

Deep Silver explicitly noted that regardless of where you buy the game, in what form, edition or whether you pre-order it or not, you will get the full game experience as no content has been reserved as a bonus for any of the aforementioned conditions.

AltChar politely reminds you that pre-ordering video games unless you absolutely have to is quite similar to blindfolded shopping and disqualifies pre-order customers from moaning in case they get a broken or otherwise dissatisfactory product. Either way, it's your money - so, do with it as you please.
