Red Dead Redemption 2 hype train is in full motion and Rockstar Games are just hours away from showing the gameplay for the first time. Fans have gathered on the official Rockstar stream already, but here's the link in case you missed it.
Red Dead Redemption 2 has been hyped up from the moment it was announced two years back and Rockstar Games might be sitting on their next golden goose if they do the online component right. That said, there is already no doubt Red Dead Redemption 2 sales will be sky high, but it remains to be seen if the recurring payments will reach GTA Online heights.
This will be mostly determined by how well the game plays and fans will have an opportunity to see the gameplay for the first time at 11:00 AM EST / 17:00 CEST / 15:00 UTC.
Rockstar didn't state what kind of gameplay we can expect really, but if they did, it wouldn't entirely be a reveal. This way suspension will keep building until the countdown is done, and you can already see it on Twitch chat which is going crazy, hours before the stream is even about to begin.
As for what the gameplay might be, we can only speculate on whether it will be single player, multi-player or a mix of both. Considering the game's release, on 26 October 2018, is less than three months away, it's a safe bet that Rockstar have a functional multiplayer build by now that they could show off. Or on second though, they could leave it for later in order to show it at one of the big events, like Gamescom or PAX West.
Red Dead Redemption will be the first title from Rockstar since GTA V, which is definitely one reason to get hyped but let's face it, we're all here just to see that juicy Grand Theft Horse gameplay.
