Fortnite's in-game TVs have been tuned into the skull channel for a while now and with the Switch version's timer now appearing on the rocket found in the villain lair near Snobby Shores, it's clear - Epic are blowing something up. Again.

As you can see, the timer shows 03:22:07:39 left on the clock until it launches and blows something up. I'm not sure whether it's my graphics settings, because I only saw the rocket hologram but fans are already swarming reddit, posting images of timers on.

Many fans are suggesting Moisty Mire will go the way of Dusty Depot, although these suggestions seem to be based on the fact that the Mire doesn't seem to be anyone's favourite. Knowing Epic's sneaky sneakiness though, the actual target is probably elsewhere.

Having become a global pastime for just about the entire planet, Fortnite's playerbase has demonstrated a knack for meticulously crafted, almost airtight conspiracy theories. You do remember back when random PlayStation 4 controller vibrations were "translated" from Morse to give the date when comet was supposed to hit? Well, this one is way bigger.

Reddit user called MHC_Sweedee has taken it upon himself to delve deep into Incan mythology, linking Fortnite's skins, emoticons and llamas into an intricate web of events that foreshadowed the upcoming destruction. Indeed, southern hemisphere's winter solstice, which was religiously observed by the Inca, falls on 21 June, which does coincide with the timer's prediction.

Moreover, Inca often sacrificed animals to appease their deities, with llamas being the most common of sacrifices. Doesn't that sound like something from Fortnite? There's much more in this theory as well, as Sweedee even tied in the Mexican emote dude as well as the Omen skin, oracle axe and foretelling of victory included.

Far fetched? Probably. Plausible? Well, a lot of it is. However, we'll have to wait and see what happens, because the last time everyone was crying wolf in Tilted Towers, Dusty Depot ended up biting the bullet. Could Epic surprise everyone again or did their plan just get debunked? I don't know, maybe we should sacrifice a llama and see what the gods say?
