CD Projekt Red have revealed a pile of new information from Cyberpunk 2077 regarding gameplay, combat, story, classes and more. For example, the rumours that the game would be first person turned out to be true and false simultaneously.
GameSpot were the first in line to receive new gameplay information from CD Projekt Red and people on reddit were quick to relay it to the masses. Reddit user Antiax compiled a list of points of interest and provided more insight into the game.
The first person rumours I mentioned earlier are true in the sense that most of the game will be played from that perspective, but cutscenes will show your character in third person. Speaking of the character, he or she will be fully customisable from the start - appearance, gender and background.
Gameplay will be more focused on RPG elements, as CD Projekt Red described Cyberpunk 2077 as an "RPG with shooter elements" and not a "shooter with RPG elements". Soak your head Todd. CD Projekt Red are highly emphasising the RPG elements and claim that the choices made by players will have massive consequences on the game world.
There will be multiple progression systems. For example, the experience gains will be have two trees. Core Experience is the one which is gained from main missions, while Street Cred will be earned from side missions.
Players will not be able to choose classes at character creation, but they will instead create the class as they level up their character.
Day and night cycle have once again been confirmed for full immersion as well as characters from Cyberpunk 2020, to same end.
The most important question for me was whether we would get to drive the car from the trailer. This one didn't get explicitly answered, but CD Projekt Red confirmed we would be able to drive cars and motorcycles while also hinting we might get to drive the flying cars.

V, the player's character will be a mercenary that will be fully voiced - both male and female. V's city will apparently be huge, with six distinct districts in it and exploration "is encouraged". Even buildings will be big areas themselves, with many of them featuring several floors.
