There you have it. Epic tweeted their 50v50 limited time mode for Fortnite is back for a run. To be perfectly fair, we seem to recall the mode being pretty popular with the fans and hopefully, Epic might leave it laying around this time.

Of course, this is not the 50v50 that launched back in December 2017, which should be pretty clear from the v2 moniker. Fortnite's devs tweaked it since, adding all the necessities needed for a balanced yet proper Fortnite carnage.

Thanos' arrival in the Infinity Gauntlet mode means that Fortnite's servers are running two limited time modes at once for the first time. Not that it's a particularly breathtaking milestone but there it is.

While we're on the subject of Thanos, Epic already tweaked his stats on two occasions. Some users have been calling for the company to make Thanos way stronger than he currently is. Indeed, this would make more players try and work together to take him down but Epic are dead set on letting everyone have a go, while maintaining a healthy dose of firepower.

As for the 50v50 v2, the mode seems to be coming back so often that it may be time for Epic to make it into a mainstay. Of course, the company will probably be polishing it further and besides, we've learned by now not to underestimate the Epic's sneakiness.

Interestingly enough, Fortnite's mode with five teams of 20 players doesn't seem to have made a splash. Well, either that or it's really a nightmare to implement because it doesn't look like it's coming back anytime soon. At the time, it seemed like a pretty decent alternative to 50v50's snowballing effect though.

Nevertheless, we're sure Fortnite won't be lacking in content over the course of Season 4, what with such a great start already. Superheroes have indeed proven to be blast, just as Epic promised.

Ultimately, it seems like Epic have infected the world with Fortnititis. Perhaps the only worrying thing is the one that's been on our mind for a while now - how does Epic top this?
