Forza Horizon 4 is the much requested sequel for diehard fans of the racing genre. It will feature an open world with tournaments and exploration in the forefront as well as a online multiplayer component. Not much else is known about the game except that it will be part of the arcade genre, but the showcase on E3 will certainly reveal much more about the gameplay and other features.

The game's predecessor, which is the third instalment in the series, still holds a massive following. Before, the age of street racing was king in the genre, but since 2006's Need for Speed: Carbon, less and less street racing games have been released. Instead, the simulation racing genre has taken over the mantle of bringing quality racers to players.

Fans of the Forza series will no doubt be eagerly expecting the announcement and eventual release of the title. However, until then they will have to be satisfied with previous Forza titles.

Another option is that they can go back to their roots and enjoy some old school racing from the Augustan age of games from this genre back at the turn of the century.
