Fortnite Battle Royale is adding remote explosives soon

Epic Games are restless with pushing new content at the speed of light. Following the addition of miniguns to Fortnite Battle Royale, they are now expanding their explosives roster with remote explosives. Remote-detonated miniguns please?

In case you were bummed out by the delay of Jetpacks, Epic Games have got your back. Fortnite Battle Royale is finally getting jeep stuff as Epic have teased on their official Twitter. Considering that smoke grenades are getting locked into the balance vault because no one was using them, it is to be expected that remote explosives will take their place.

Just like the SMG, Smoke Grenades aren't gone forever. As explained in the video above, they are going to the vault to be revisited by the dev team, possibly adjusted and will likely be reintroduced in the game once they are useful enough.

Some commenters on Twitter are speculating that the Jetpack will not be coming to the game at all, but a Dev Update from 09 March 2018 confirmed that they will be introduced soon, and that the delays so far are of a technical nature. It was not specified whether they're balancing or implementation issues. Whenever it comes, it will be fun to see what the combined might of miniguns and jetpacks will look like.

With all the updates Fortnite is getting, it is to be expected some delays will happen, especially as Epic Games may be working on adding vehicles to the game. It's a popular request by players these days so it may not be long before we get one. Having a Hoverboard in Save the World mode may be a sign of things to come.

Call me a bad person, but the first thought that crossed my mind was if we could get the option to blow up the loot llamas with the remote explosives instead of whacking them with pickaxes.
