Season 2 of Fortnite: Battle Royale draws to a close on 21 Feburary, 2018, but the devs are already preying on shallow water customers who cannot resist a Battle Pass type of bait. Having said that, let's "dive in".

The Battle Pass is sort of a seasonal entry ticket, with the added benefit of earning exclusive loot while playing. And killing people of course. And for winning. And flying that ridiculous umbrella shaped glider. Hmm. I wonder why it never rains in Fortniteland?

Players progress by earning or purchasing tiers, although we all know that earning is easy and thus reserved for foolish fools. Real noscope pros buy their stuff the hard way. Each tier goes for 150-V, although Epic's new battle bundle offers the Battle Pass and 25 tiers for 2800 V-Bucks.

Season 3 Battle Pass holders will be getting the Mission Specialist Outfit and an unspecified "batch of great in-game rewards". As usual, the more you play, the more you earn. The devs are showing off the new Weekly Challenges system as well, with seven fresh challenges added every week, a maximum four of which can be dismissed at a time.

If you're hungry for some extra bling, which you are, you'll be glad to know there'll be way more loot compared to Season 2. Moreover, Season 3 Battle Pass brings Back Blings, Skydiving FX Trails and Loading Screens, which didn't feature in the previous season.

Epic upped the number of tiers as well, from 70 to 100 in the Season 3. Strangely enough, the added levels increase the price of buying your way to the top, yet do not seem to translate to playing hours, which devs claim are still at 70-150 hours. What sort of sorcery is this? You can learn more on Fortnite's official website.
