Mass Effect: Andromeda was a major disaster for both BioWare and EA but despite it all, the game sold over two million copes. Written off by everyone, it was dormant for almost two months but now it sparked some attention again with a surprise patch.

Glitches, bad animation, a subsequent gamer rebellion against EA's meddling and the general unfinished cashgrab vibe it had all contributed to Mass Effect: Andromeda being a total disasterpiece. BioWare Montreal was merged into Motive Studios and no one really expected continued support for the game.

Turns out this was not the end for the game, as zombie BioWare kept putting out small multiplayer updates. They also added one this week without additional comment, but the generic ''Here are the latest updates to Mass Effect: Andromeda Multiplayer.''

BioWareFacial Defect: Andromeda

It wasn't a big patch, and the entirety of its notes can be stuffed into a web news article. Like this.

Halberd:
– Increased clip size from 12 to 18
– Increased damage from 111-140 to 117-147
Thokin:
– Increased clip size from 24 to 30
– Increased total ammo capacity from 240-300 to 300-375
Charger:
– Increased accuracy from 45-56 to 50-63
Predator
– Increased damage from 54-72 to 57-76
– Increased force from 30 to 40
Sidewinder
– Increased ammo capacity from 60-75 to 65-81
Scorpion
– Increased damage from 587-704 to 616-739
– Increased force from 55 to 75
Indra
– Increased damage from 92-110 to 97-116
Shadow
– Increased damage from 85-102 to 88-106

All the weapons affected seem to be straight up buffed with both higher damage and clip size.

BioWare''Hey look, the Citadel is going to crash and burn! Like Andromeda did...''

Size isn't everything though, and this cute little patch woke up the feeling of empathy inside me, towards the once glorious franchise that has been brought to its knees by overwhelming incompetence.

May our SciFi RPG needs be satisfied with Cyberpunk 2077 when it gets released. CD Projekt Red promised to deliver.
