Capcom will be handing out free copies of Devil May Cry to Twitch Prime subscribers. You'll download the game via the Twitch desktop app. The Devil May Cry HD Collection will launch on March 13 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

Devil May Cry HD Collection will soon be making its rounds on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The collection has a new trailer and Capcom have some good news for all: starting on 27 February 2018, they will let you play the very first Devil May Cry for free.

All Amazon/Twitch Prime subscribers will be able to get their hands on a free copy of the original Devil May Cry game. After claiming your copy, you'll be able to download the full game through the Twitch desktop app.

A Twitch Prime membership comes with an Amazon Prime subscription, but you can sign up for a free trial that lasts for a week. Time it right and you'll walk away with a completely free copy of the first Devil May Cry game.

Devil May Cry has originally launched back in 2001 for PS2, and that might put a couple of players off, as the game may look archaic. However, its an opportunity to get in on the ground level and see just how far the franchise has come over the last 17 years.

If your first Devil May Cry experience happened to be the DmC: Devil May Cry reboot from 2013, don't be alarmed if you see a white haired Dante. Another word of caution: previous Twitch Prime free games have not had a habit staying free for longer than a couple of days, so make sure you're there when the offer goes live.

The Devil May Cry HD Collection will launch on March 13 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. It includes remastered versions of the first three games in the series, all of which run at 60 frames per second.
