Blizzard will soon launch Overwatch's latest map - Blizzard World. In addition to the new map, the game's standard Loot Boxes will offer up some fresh cosmetic items. Lunar New Year and Uprising events are set to make a comeback in 2018.
Blizzard is about to add a bunch of new stuff to Overwatch's base Loot Box set. This just means that they will keep the waterfall of money pouring in in between the scheduled events. There are two themes to the new skins: some were inspired by other Blizzard games, and others by a couple of recent cinematics.

The regular loot boxes will contain over 100 new items, and this includes skins, sprays, player icons, and emotes for all 26 heroes. After two months of testing in the game's PTR, Blizzard World is ready for its grand opening. The latest map to go live in Overwatch will be a hybrid between an attack and a payload map.
Blizzard World will feature areas dedicated to Hearthstone, Heroes of the Storm, Warcraft, StarCraft, and Diablo, as well as a slew of Easer eggs. During his first one take Developer Update of 2018, Jeff from the Overwatch team pointed out that a new hero is in development.
Additionally, you can look forward to another Lunar New Year event. Uprising is also set to make a comeback in 2018.
In other Overwatch news, the Overwatch League is doing quite well. Blizzard partnered up with Twitch in an exclusive two-year deal just before the league kicked off.
Blizzard World and the new gear will launch on Tuesday, 23 January.
