Call of Duty WWII is close to breaking the retail sales chart record set by Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy earlier this year. The rest of the top five looks exactly the same as last week. Oh yeah, Grand Theft Auto V is back in the top 10.
Call of Duty: WWII is on the top of the UK software chart yet again, but this week's top spot has brought it neck to neck with Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy. The Trilogy holds the record for most amount of No1’s in succession in 2017.
That said, I could have easily copied the last week's article on this particular subject, seeing how the top five games from seven days ago didn't move an inch. Being the professional that I am, I will change the last week's text slightly and move on to the next topic on my list of articles for today.
EA has two games in the top five this week: FIFA 18 and Star Wars Battlefront II. The two EA games sit on numbers two and four respectively. The top three is yet again rounded off by Gran Turismo Sport. Assassin's Creed Origins got a new difficulty mode recently. The game has managed to hold on to its spot at number five.
We can see some movement on the wrong side of the top 10. Super Mario Odyssey climbed from number eight to number six. Forza Motorsport 7 made room for Super Mario Odyssey by moving to number seven.
Another Mario game in the top 10 is Mario Kart 8 Deluxe returning from the depths of the top 20 and bringing a couple of old friends along for the ride: Grand Theft Auto V and Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy are back in the top 10 at numbers nine and 10 respectively.
