Batman - The Telltale Series is coming to the Switch on 17 November (in Europe and Australia).
Telltale Games, in partnership with DC Entertainment and Warner Bros. today confirmed that Batman - The Telltale Series will soon be launching for Nintendo Switch. The entire first season will be available both digitally and in retail. All five episodes will come already loaded on the retail cartridge. The price for North America is set at $39.99 which roughly translates into around £30.50.
"This will be Telltale's first Mature-rated title on the system, so we're really excited not only to have our game on Switch but also to approach a new audience with a game we're really proud of," said Executive Producer Sean O'Connor. "We think our unique take on Batman is a great way to introduce Nintendo fans to Telltale's style of storytelling. It's also nice that returning fans will be able to experience the game on a console they can take with them everywhere."
The series' inaugural episode 'Realm of Shadows', Bruce is having a bit of an identity crisis when he finds out his father was in fact a ruthless crime boss. Gasp! You'll go on to "negotiate harsh political turmoil and prevent Gotham City from descending into chaos while digging into the truth about the Wayne family's sordid past" explains the press release. Honestly, Gotham, when will you stop acting like a rebellious teen?
Batman - The Telltale Series is a standalone product separate from the second season, Batman: The Enemy Within. Episode one of Batman - The Telltale Series is now free for all iOS users.
