According to the press release, Portia is a "town on the edge of civilization". You'll get there by boat and find a workshop left to you by your Pa. That workshop will be the place "where you can begin to craft a new life, using the relics from the past to improve life for the villagers in the town" explains the press release.

Portia will offer an open world where you can gather materials by cutting down trees, looking for herbs and mining its ruins. Growing your own garden is also an option. The game will offer a variety of areas such as deserts, island, reefs, highlands, marshlands, mines and more.

Two types of dungeons will also be at your disposal. The dungeons will house relics and ores you'll need in order to "improve life for the villagers". Also monsters. The villagers of Portia go to school, have jobs, and work out. You'll even be able to find friends or romance.

Debbie Bestwick, MBE, CEO of Team17 said "We welcome Pathea to the Team17 label and it’s exciting to work with a talented studio in a region with an emerging indie development scene."
