Final Fantasy is celebrating its 30th anniversary. Nobuo Uematsu sat down to talk about the development process behind the Main Theme for the franchise. A Fan Tribute Competition is now open.

Nobuo Uematsu invites you to show your talent and creativity in producing content to the tune of the Main Theme for Final Fantasy. Why should you listen to him? Well, he is the music composer behind the Main Theme for Final Fantasy.

In a video released today on Final Fantasy's You Tube channel, Mr Uematsu talks about his inspirations and the development process behind the track. FInal Fantasy is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year and Uematsu also took the time to introduce a brand new official competition hosted by Square Enix, inviting the fans to leave their own mark on the franchise.

"As part of the Fan Tribute Competition, new compositions of the Main Theme, original animations, dances or artwork are all eligible for entry, and winning participants will be included in a unique Fan Tribute Video highlighting their talent and creativity to the world" says the press release. In other Final Fantasy news, we have the Assassin's Creed franchise now available as a free download for Final Fantasy XV on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Final Fantasy XV: Assassin’s Festival will be available to the players up until the end of January 2018.
