Tom Clancy's The Division is having another free weekend. Everyone will be granted full access to the base game’s content. The pre-loads have already started.

Tom Clancy's The Division will have another free weekend starting at 6 pm BST on 14 September, 2017. The free event will end at 9pm BST on 17 September, 2017. This time, I might actually give it a whirl. We'll see.

The trailer is not lacking in the action department, of course, and it offers up an entire weekend of playing the campaign you've trained for your entire life. For free. Assorted Dark Zone experiences are also up for grabs, especially if you feel an incredible urge to save what remains. A drive so incredibly important in real life during the finals week.

Co-op missions will be at everyone's disposal during the free weekend as well. As the press release put it: "All players will have full access to the base game’s content for the duration of the free weekend." This screams fun. It's deafening.

If you're a new player and have nothing planned from 6 pm BST on 14 September, 2017 until 9pm BST on 17 September, this piece of information is for you: the pre-loads have started today, 12 September, over at the game's website.

As always, there will be a discount available for Tom Clancy’s The Division PC Standard and Gold Editions. If you end up buying one (or both, I don't know you) of these, you'll see your progress from the free weekend carried over into the purchased game.

Recently, we got news that a big content pack for The Division will be coming sometime this autumn. More info on that will be available soon.
