With the console beta's now behind us, Bungie is preparing for the upcoming PC beta round of testing. Early access is reserved for everyone who pre-ordered the game. In this case, early means one day earlier than everyone else.
Bungie is continuing with testing Destiny 2 on interested players. The next round of beta trials will be taking place next month, and is reserved for PC players. Players who pre-ordered the game can start testing 28 August 2017, while everyone else will be able to participate in the open beta test on the next day. The PC open beta will last up until 31 August 2017.
The latest official statement from the studio includes updated system requirements for open beta participation:
Minimum system requirements:
CPU: AMD - FX-4350 / Intel - Core i3-3250AMD -
GPU: AMD - Radeon HD 7850 2GB / Nvidia - GeForce GTX 660 2GB
Recommended system requirements:
CPU: AMD Ryzen R5 1600X / Intel - Core i5-2400AMD
GPU: AMD Radeon R9 390 / Nvidia - GeForce GTX 970AMD
Bungie are also advising players to stick with Nvidia hardware when it comes to GPUs, if they are currently deciding on an upgrade. AltChar suggests you do whatever you want with your money.

The studio has also reminded everyone that the stated system requirements may change prior to the game's launch on 24 October 2017.
