Niantic and The Pokemon Company International are still celebrating Pokemon Go's first anniversary. The best news to come out of the celebration so far is the fact that the Legendary Pokemon will start showing up in the game. Still, it all depends on the Trainers of the world and the folks from Chicago.

The day has come when we can, without a sliver of doubt, say "the Legendary Pokemon are coming to Pokemon Go". In celebration of Pokemon Go’s one-year anniversary, Niantic and The Pokemon Company International have revealed that Legendary Pokemon will begin to appear in the real world soon.

Once the Legendaries are in the wild, Trainers can search for unique Legendary Eggs at Gym locations around the world. Players can even team up with friends to join a Legendary Raid Battle to defeat the Legendary Pokemon and earn a chance to catch it.

"If Trainers everywhere catch enough Pokemon during Pokemon Go Fest on July 22, 2017, the debut Legendary Pokemon will be unveiled".

Trainers from all over the world will have to work together in order to catch Pokemon during the Pokemon Go Fest Challenge Windows. By doing that they will unlock in-game bonuses and the chance for the first Legendary Pokemon to appear at Pokemon Go Fest. If Trainers successfully defeat the Legendary Pokemon in Chicago, that Pokemon will start appearing in Raid Battles around the world after Pokemon Go Fest.
