Treyarch are giving everyone free access to all four of the multiplayer DLC maps. The maps will be downloaded automatically and it is possible to opt out of the deal if you prefer the singleplayer. The DLC maps will be free starting on 30 May.

What do Prison Architect: Mobile, Fallout 4 and Awesomenauts have in common with Call of Duty: Black Ops 3? A damsel in distress and awesome platforming, of course. That and the fact that they are all free, for a certain period of time, at the least.

You see, "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Multiplayer DLC Trial Pack for PC" will go live on 30 May, at 6 PM BST. What in world does that mean? Well it means that you'll be able to access all four of the war shooter's DLC packs. Are you still with me? Ok. The offer will last for 30 days. An entire month.

That means you'll be able to spend the said month blasting away other people (who may have given money to own the map which you now tread on in your filthy tailcoat-riding boots) in all four multiplayer DLC maps that were released for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3. Ahem.

What do people who already own the DLC get?

Treyarch is glad you asked. "If you already own the DLC that you’re playing, you’ll get a 2XP reward. The deal is even sweeter for Season Pass owners, who will receive 2XP on all multiplayer maps. And those offers last through the duration of the 30-day trial."

All of the Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 multiplayer maps will be added to its playlists, and the download will happen automatically. If you prefer to be by your lonesome, this is how you get rid of this multiplayer nonsense. Read Treyarch's full announcement here.
