This years Reboot Develop has a mighty speaker line-up and tickets for the Dubrovnik conference are almost sold out. If you want to hear what Tim Cain, Suda51 and Cliff Bleszinski have to say you will have to hurry, or check back with AltChar.com.
Previously Rebood Develop hosted talks by industry veterans like Tim Schafer, Brenda Romero and Brian Fargo. This year's line-up is no less impressive. Tim Cain, the creator of Fallout, is scheduled to speak about ways to make a better RPG, Suda51 will be talking about his future plans with Grashopper Manufacture and Cliff Bleszinski has insight to share on AAA development and VR.
Games Industry heavyweights from Croteam, Wargaming, Paradox, Creative Assembly, 343 Industries, CD Projekt Red and many others will be attending alongside Indie newcomers and seasoned independent studios in Dubrovink, on Croatia's southern coastline from 20 - 22 April 2017.
A lot of key people from Fig and Kickstarter will be present at the event right next to a lot of those same Indie studios, so elevator pitches are likely to fly left and right. In addition, the event will be hosting the Nordic Game Discovery Contest. This guarantees a healthy exchange of ideas and with a bit of luck might spark some interesting projects to look out for in the future.
Dubrovnik is a beautiful Mediterranean city with a rich history and considering the busy weekend schedule it's no wonder that tickets are almost sold out.
AltChar will be attending and provide you with fresh reports all throughout the three day event, so check back next weekend for a closer look at one of the more unique events for global gaming and the industry behind it.
